PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — A wine- and beer-tasting event will raise money for local scholarships and community projects in southwest Wisconsin.

Rotary Club of Southwest Wisconsin/Platteville hosts its Uncorked event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, in Platteville, according to an online announcement. Check-in is at City Park, 75 N. Bonson St. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Attendees will sample wines and beers while shopping and socializing at downtown stores and offices in Platteville.

The cost is $30. Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for local students and other community projects.
